Very nice hotel, with spacious and comfortable room, 2 restaurants, one of which is gourmet, the other Pub 47, the food is very good, homemade for a fair price, the service is very good and fast, a must in Montluçon

Top hotel, very beautiful facade. Especially the pub 47 brewery part that I remember. Fresh product. Very good taste, smiling service. I recommend it to anyone looking for a good restaurant in Montluçon.

I go exclusively to the brasserie side (Pub 47) of this place. The food is very good, homemade, in a very pleasant setting. Very good value for money. The service is fast and efficient. It's good when you're in a hurry at lunchtime.
Restaurant side, glaring lack of modernity, the same dishes on the menu for years, I went there a few times and I did not have an exceptional experience. Too bad because there would surely be a way to do something really good because the place is beautiful and easily accessible.

Top brewery. The food is good and the service is fast. All this with a touch of a traditional French meal. If you want to eat good and not too expensive in Montluçon, it’s good here

Traditional cuisine very well executed, the offer is sophisticated and complete. The best profiteroles in all of France are in this restaurant.
The team is professional, attentive and pleasant.
I recommend and don't forget to finish with the profiteroles

Overall very nice. Although the food choice was amazing and catered for my vegetarian and gluten free préférences, on delivery the food was barely warm.
The table of 4,next to us, returned their meals for the same reason.
I will try this restaurant again, and I hope this was a kitchen blip.

On the menu:
Homemade terrine (my grandmother made it, but better)
Pata Negra: acceptable
Norwegian omelette: flambés at the table, (the big game!!!)
Overall, yes, it's good, homemade, certainly, even if I doubt the omelette, Norwegian, too perfect in its design. I have the impression of a gourmet restaurant that wants to look big, without having the means. A stuffy, old-fashioned establishment that seems stuck in the 80s and 90s. It is true that we are in Montluçon.
My rating 6/10.

Restaurant situé juste en face de l’hôtel The Original. Belle salle, nappe en tissu couverts en argent
Le dîner aurait pu être parfait, hélas nous n’avons eu du pain aussi dur pratiquement rassis.
Le vol au vent pas très chaud, au demeurant excellent, la viande pluma de pata negra pas cuite presque saignante, vraiment dommage
