A place that has a soul. No fuss. Good old-fashioned cuisine. Taste, good dishes and the cheekiness of Sylvie, the waitress who takes you on with her good humor.

In decline. It's always good...but the wait becomes punishing. Very good for retirees. Coarse salt beef or fleischschnacka remain essential. Patience.

Too bad the quality and quantity has dropped. The waiter who worked on the canal side in the large room had behavior that was borderline...borderline...and close to improper. We will think about it before returning for lunch.

The staff was very nice and accommodating, and helpful with the menu. The Fleischschnacka were extremely tasty! Only recommended! Just don't let the ambience (it's in a market hall) put you off.

01/09/2024: Good food, tables were rearranged for us, but also left absolutely crooked without any effort to straighten the table surface. Chicken burger was okay, but I don't know if I would eat here again.

25/09/2024: I cannot figure out how this place has such a low rating, well I guess I can mainly due to the service, they are great but they could be more welcoming, some look to pursuade you from coming in and eating, a little customer service and this place would be great, but despite not being cheery, they are nice enough
24/09/2024: I went there for dinner with a colleague I ordered a fish sauerkraut good bad luck no haddock fish which gives this particular scent and taste we double the portions of fish in the salmon zander dish I appreciate the gesture however the sauerkraut is not bad the dish is well garnished but lacks a little refinement. I have already eaten fish sauerkraut that was a bit better. The salad ordered is certainly large but slightly cooked. Too bad for traditional Alsatian cuisine, there are little things to improve. The staff is friendly, the setting is also...
