The restaurant has clearly reached a new level: excellent, generous, and entirely homemade dishes, using high-quality ingredients.
What's more, the owners are lovely, always smiling, and very welcoming. A huge congratulations to them for this great change and success!

08/08/2026: There are restaurants we appreciate… and then there are those we become attached to. L’Auberge du Pont de la Zorn clearly belongs to the latter category.
We dined there last night with friends, and I confess, with a little apprehension. Taking over an establishment that has built such a reputation is never easy. For years, Myriam Debeer, with her strong character (which I adored!), welcomed guests in the dining room while Hervé delighted everyone in the kitchen. An iconic duo that seemed almost impossible to replace.
And yet… how foolish we were to have any doubts!
Jeoffrey Kientzel has taken over the kitchen with great talent, while his wife Marine, a trained pastry chef, provides service with professionalism, a smile, and a lovely presence. You immediately sense that they have taken over this establishment with great respect, while also bringing their own personal touch.
Some people still refuse to go back simply because the owners have changed. Others systematically compare it to the previous establishment, sometimes with a nostalgia that's more emotional than objective. It's a shame... because they're missing out on a truly wonderful experience.
The menu is intentionally limited, which is often the best guarantee of quality. It evolves with the seasons, and honestly, every dish is tempting. You find yourself hesitating for a long time... then wanting to come back to try everything else!
A special mention goes to the tarte flambée, a true institution of the restaurant. What a joy to rediscover its quality! We found it had just a touch less salt than before... and, ultimately, it didn't detract from it at all. On the contrary, they seemed even more perfectly balanced, and we thoroughly enjoyed them.
And what can we say about the dessert... A huge thank you to Marine for her "Sparkling Raspberry," a real favorite. You immediately understand that pastry making is her first profession. It was simply delicious.
Another very welcome feature: the superb, entirely non-smoking terrace, where the tables are spaced far enough apart to fully enjoy the moment. A true luxury these days.
Our only slight “disappointment” (and I use quotation marks intentionally 😄): dogs are still not allowed. Inside, in this magnificent inn dating back to 1717, the size of the dining room perfectly explains this. On the terrace… we will nevertheless continue to hope that this will change someday!
A big congratulations to Marine and Jeoffrey. Myriam and Hervé were absolutely right in choosing their successors. The future is in good hands, and they are doing it with talent.
Keep up the good work; you can be proud of what you have already accomplished. We will return with immense pleasure.
And to those who are still hesitating: go ahead with complete confidence. You'll have a wonderful time there… and, if you're lucky, you might even finish your meal with a delicious herbal infusion made with plants freshly picked from the garden. A lovely finishing touch that perfectly captures the spirit of this beautiful house.
