A restaurant just like you imagine here in Alsace, and one that's becoming increasingly rare! A typical and elegant decor, very friendly and attentive service, and an excellent meal! The tarte flambée is delicious, and the pork cheeks and quenelle are incredible! Everything is perfect; if you're passing through, it's definitely worth the detour!!

Everything was impeccable, the tarte flambée with Munster cheese was excellent, the main courses were generous, and the desserts were delicious. The service was quick and efficient, and the food (meats, toasts, ice cream) was good. However, it's best to book in advance for the weekend to avoid disappointment! We highly recommend it!

We were staying at La Chenaudière and wanted to enjoy some simple, comforting food. We were wrong about "simple," because for a small village restaurant, we enjoyed a sophisticated and beautifully prepared meal, served with great generosity. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back. It was excellent – ​​thank you!

07/04/2026: This review applies to a day spa visit. We had a pleasant day at the Chenaudière Spa, but we were very disappointed with the meal. We booked our table for 2:00 PM (as offered by the establishment) and were very surprised to see that the buffet was starting to be cleared away at 2:10 PM. As a result, we had no more cheese, only two dessert choices (a slice of chocolate tart or pineapple), and we felt rushed by the staff who were starting to sweep up next to us… really unacceptable for an establishment of this caliber, in our opinion. Why offer the 2:00 PM time slot for reservations if the buffet is already being cleared away at 2:10 PM? Furthermore, there were limited vegetarian options…
02/04/2026: We enjoyed a morning at the spa; it was wonderful. The sound of the birds, the scents in every area, and the temperatures in the sauna, hammam, and baths were perfect. The lunch buffet and afternoon tea were delicious! The staff were kind and very attentive. I will definitely be back.
