The restaurant is located in a very old, rustic building and the dining areas are attractively designed. The bar area is clearly showing its age and the armchairs are quite dingy. For the main course we had the Poulet de Bresse rotie. I really can't recommend this dish. You end up with a somewhat flabby chicken drumstick with little taste of its own. The side dishes were tasty, as were the tiramisu and the creme brulée.

We were there to have a basic drink, in the end we ate there and it was great. Quiet atmosphere, the servers are friendly and smiling, good value for money. I had the truffle ravioli (excellent) and my partner had the chicken burger of the moment, a friend had the salmon tartare and another also had the truffle ravioli, plus each a dessert 🍨 and 2 coffees. Very good times, speed of service, pleasant terrace. We will come back. Don't hesitate 🌟

Nice restaurant. On the other hand, the Bresse chicken.... A poor wing for more than 20€, it's a bit expensive. And what about the extra €5 for 3 poor little morels... It's a bit excessive. On the other hand, seeing the other plates, it seems rather honest. But not the chicken! Holiday vouchers are not accepted. Damage. In response to your reaction, I am not questioning the quality of the products, I am just saying that for the price, it would be more honest not to present a poor chicken wing.

Colorful terrace, very nice for summer, ideal for an aperitif and a good burger with friends! Very welcoming and efficient waiters, you feel good there! They are also open on Mondays with a reduced menu.

24/09/2024: If the facade doesn't look like much, don't hesitate to book. The small room filled up in the blink of an eye. And for good reason… a warm, friendly welcome. A fairly simple menu, a sign of 'home' cooking. And, when the dishes arrive, we can only see the quality of the products and the enthusiasm of the chef to satisfy the guests. Little advice: don't snack before going, you risk callous before the end of the meal. For us, meals alone, à la carte. • 2 goldfinches • 1 Caesar salad • 1 andouillette • 1 raspberry bush • 1 fruit salad On the bill; 61.00 euros Excellent value for money.
11/09/2024: A stop in Bourg en Bresse, we trusted the reviews and went to Nadine's table. Excellent value for money. Excellent starter, main course and dessert and what can we say about the welcome...top notch Don't hesitate if you are in the area, you cannot be disappointed.
