Restaurant Café Lorrain sur Roppeviller

From the outside, it looks rather unassuming and like a dive bar. Inside, it's a busy restaurant, air-conditioned, with good food at incredible prices. Two beef steaks with sides and salad 500ml white wine, two bottles of mineral water for €40 That's hard to beat.

It's a shame we had to wait an hour for our order to be taken. We had a table of four reserved for lunch at 2:00 PM, and it took almost another three-quarters of an hour for our starters. So we didn't finish our meal until 5:00 PM. The food itself was good, with prices you won't find anywhere else, pork escalope starting at €12.

Yesterday, my family and I had a lovely meal after our walk to the rock. The prices are very reasonable, except for the veal, which is a bit pricey. Otherwise, the service and quality were excellent.

Wow! Absolutely fantastic! The meat was cooked perfectly, the salad had a great dressing, and the fries were cooked to perfection. The service was excellent: a very warm welcome, super friendly, and a great atmosphere. I highly recommend it. I'll definitely be back. And the prices are very reasonable too. Somewhat unassuming with its 60s ambiance. But very tasty food and friendly service.

Simple and rustic place in the village serving delicious and tasty food with good portions. A real little gem. It does get busy as popular but service was still quick and friendly. Air conditioning inside which was a blessing in the heat. Beware for fish lovers or vegetarians, only meat was offered on the menu (not an issue for us). Prices were reasonable.

A lovely little restaurant-café, perfect for refueling after a good hike. The dishes are generous, flavorful, and full of taste. Only the peas and green beans were a bit bland for my liking, but that didn't detract from the overall quality of the meal. I highly recommend this place! 😋
