Somewhat unassuming with its 60s ambiance. But very tasty food and friendly service.

Simple and rustic place in the village serving delicious and tasty food with good portions. A real little gem. It does get busy as popular but service was still quick and friendly. Air conditioning inside which was a blessing in the heat. Beware for fish lovers or vegetarians, only meat was offered on the menu (not an issue for us). Prices were reasonable.

A lovely little restaurant-café, perfect for refueling after a good hike. The dishes are generous, flavorful, and full of taste. Only the peas and green beans were a bit bland for my liking, but that didn't detract from the overall quality of the meal. I highly recommend this place! 😋

A restaurant unlike any other, very family-friendly, where you're guaranteed a great time. A pristine environment, a paradise, beautiful hikes, a delicious meal... well, you have to discover it.

Absolutely nothing to complain about, excellent and very generous portions. Service was as quick as possible considering how busy it was, and the servers were friendly. The value for money was more than reasonable.

Restaurant Café Lorrain – Highly recommended! There were five of us for a late lunch, and we weren't disappointed. The food was consistently good – from the soup to the meat dishes to the dessert. We especially recommend the lamb ribs, although they were almost sold out by 3 pm. If you'd like to try them, it's best to reserve in advance. At around €30 per person, including drinks, the price-performance ratio is fair. The staff was friendly and attentive. The only downside: it was quite crowded and therefore noisy – so a reservation is advisable. However, the satisfied faces of the other guests spoke for themselves. In short: Good French cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere. We'll gladly come back!

Very good, we came yesterday with a company group and another group is returning today.

Café Lorrain has become a true tradition for us 😊. Every December 26th, after a lovely walk in the nearby forest 🌲 and discovering the magnificent Altschlossfelsen rocks, we meet here for lunch, fellow hikers 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️. It's always a pleasure to return to this warm and welcoming establishment 🏡. The staff are incredibly kind, welcoming, and always smiling 😊. We feel right at home. The traditional cuisine is generous and full of flavor 🍽️😋, perfect for refueling after a hike. The dishes are hearty, authentic, and prepared with care. Over the years, this meeting place has become a must for our group. A wonderful spot where we love to get together, share good times, and extend the friendly atmosphere of our outings 🤝. We've already booked a date for December 26th... and the following one, and so on! 😄🎉 We highly recommend this place. 👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It's a typical old French inn. The decor is old, but the food is top-notch! I've rarely eaten such good lamb.

Excellent meal. Tender, melt-in-your-mouth meat.
