Restaurant Chez Francine sur Martigues

Thanks to the TV show "The Best Regional Cuisine is at Home" and while passing through Martigues, we booked a table at Francine's. It was a fantastic discovery! We tried the bottarga and octopus 🐙, following the excellent advice of Sonia, the waitress, and everything was absolutely delicious. A truly delightful experience, full of discovery and indulgence. I highly recommend this place!

We came for lunch with friends and had a wonderful time. The service was warm and friendly. The team seemed to manage the busy schedule very well while remaining attentive and responsive to their customers. The food was delicious and refined. We shared several appetizers and ordered the day's catch (sea bream). The quality of the ingredients was impeccable! I highly recommend this place!

Lunch Dear Sir/Madam, We recently dined at your establishment and wished to highlight the exemplary quality of your service. The welcome was impeccable, and your staff demonstrated a level of professionalism that deserves praise. As for the cuisine, the sea bass fillets and the sea bream platter were also of very high quality. However, we wish to express our disappointment regarding the overall value for money. A bill of €130 for two people, including an aperitif, seems disproportionate to the dining experience. While the quality of the food was excellent, the ambiance did not live up to it: Lack of privacy: The cramped space and the immediate proximity to neighboring tables detract from comfort. The crowded atmosphere prevented us from enjoying our meal in peace. At this price, and considering the quality dining options available in your immediate area, one would expect a more exclusive or, at the very least, more comfortable environment. It is regrettable that the excellence of your service is undermined by a setting that fails to justify such a price point. We hope that this feedback, while direct, will be helpful in the development of your concept. Sincerely,

We love this restaurant, a favorite among regulars, with its short and well-executed menu. The food is good (my partner absolutely loves the octopus!). The atmosphere is warm and the service is friendly and efficient.

The best octopus in the world is at Chez Francine, incredibly delicious, the staff so friendly, and excellent value for money. Thanks also to Sonia for her amazing homemade desserts! I highly recommend this wonderful place in Carro 💙
