Calm, impeccable service, high-quality dishes

A lovely restaurant in the theater courtyard, good quality food, pleasant service. The only downside was finding toothpicks mixed in with our salad; I think there was a problem in the kitchen, it could have been a choking hazard. Apart from that, no complaints 😊

A meal with friends and a first experience for us. A very warm welcome, very generous portions, and attentive service. Kir and port wine were served as aperitifs with appetizers for four people. This isn't always the case in restaurants. In any case, it's a thoughtful touch and a plus compared to other establishments. The duck breast was well-cooked and so generous that I had to ask my partner for help to finish it. The sea bream fillet for my partner was also very good. Beautiful presentation of the dishes. Highly recommended.

The food was good, but it couldn't make up for the poor service and atmosphere! €125 for two people in 1.5 hours, and they made it clear you shouldn't linger! What a shame.

During a business trip to Martigues, I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant. The decor is tasteful and doesn't try to hide the weakness of the cuisine. The menu is perfect; the sea bream, cooked to perfection, is wonderfully accompanied by seasonal vegetables—turnips, carrots, and leeks—on a bed of squid ink rice—a true delight, perfectly balanced with its saffron sauce. Thank you for this meal; keep it up, I will return.

If you're looking for a good restaurant in a quiet location, away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Martigues, I recommend La Cour du Théâtre. Even outside, you'll be far from the noise, passing cars, and other disturbances; the inner courtyard is very pleasant and relaxing. Although we hadn't made a reservation this time, we still enjoyed a lovely evening. The food is of good quality; I've never been disappointed. The dishes are always well-presented and generous. Thank you to the staff, who were very discreet and friendly. As you leave, I suggest you take a stroll along the quays, right in front of you, to help with digestion if you've indulged a little more than usual—especially if you had a starter, main course, and dessert. A friend recommended this restaurant, and I'm very grateful; everything was delicious from appetizer to dessert. The sauces, cooking times, and seasonings were all precise, and the food was high quality at a very reasonable price. Perfect!
