Restaurant Chez Romain sur Saint-Aunes

A lovely little meal; we ate very well on the sunny terrace. The waiter (Romain, maybe 😅😅) was an amazing character! We regularly travel to Montpellier, and if we come back with colleagues, we'll definitely return 😉😉

Great place that doesn't look like much. The owner, who's always busy, still takes the time to be a bit of a clown and joke with his customers. The portions are generous, delicious, and high quality. We'll be back! PS: The half-peach was very good, oops, I meant the Pietra...

A nice little restaurant with friendly service and a good selection of varied dishes (including Corsican options). Very good value for money. Our (homemade) fries and seafood would have been better if they had been grilled a little longer on the day we visited!

I was lucky enough to visit when Corsican products were plentiful. I started with a plate of Corsican charcuterie and salad, which was delicious. I followed with a brocciu omelet with fries and vegetables. I needed to add salt and pepper to fully appreciate the seasoning, and I think it's good not to overdo it with the basics, allowing everyone to season it to their liking. I was completely satisfied, and a coffee finished off my excellent meal. The restaurant itself isn't much to look at, a bit tucked away in a corner, but even though I stayed in the front area, I know there's a more pleasant space at the back. The chef is typically Corsican, a little reserved at first, but then genuinely warm with a smile and a good sense of humor. No unnecessary frills, just the essentials. I highly recommend it!

What can I say... Excellent market cuisine. A fabulous atmosphere. Five stars aren't enough. Come without hesitation because the owner is exceptional, if you will 🤣🤣🤣🤣

What a welcome! And what a fabulous meal: black trumpets, cuttlefish, homemade fries, homemade flan. Go there, you won't regret it, and the boss's eloquence is worth any dish in the world!!!
