We were looking for a lunch in Brantome and liked the look of the menu here. It was a bonus that there were tables bh the river & despite the rain we were covered nicely.
Staff were friendly, and our orders were quickly taken.
I had the fois gras salad & even though I have never tried the dish before and so haven't got anything to compare it to but for me it was one of the best meals I have eaten in a long time. The flavours were amazing and complimented each other so well and was just enough to leave me full but not bloated.
My husband had the Smash burger and was more than happy with his order.
The cups of Cappuccino were actually a decent size and I was so happy to find a normal cup that I had a second!
Was such a lovely lunch in such a lovely location and so glad we chose it.
