Restaurant Côté Rivière sur Is-Sur-Tille

Very quiet hotel, good location! Beautiful buildings, rustic! The food in the restaurant is sublime, friendly service! One minor downside: the shower does not work optimally, and there is a leak in the heating element in the bathroom!

A great stopover on the way south. Beautiful and charming hotel, very quietly situated and equipped with every comfort. Very tasty meals in the adjacent restaurant. If the Michelin and Gault&Millau inspectors haven't been here yet, it is high time they did.

We needed a stop over on our way to the French Alps , I made the booking in advance by email and enquired if my wife being vegan would be an issue , on our stay we loved the room hotel and grounds a really picturesque part of rural France . The Vegan meal prepared for my wife was superb , my food was equally superb I can only describe as modern French cuisine certainly will stay again .

A quick lunch break. A very warm welcome, a good selection of menus and wines. It was very good and reasonably priced.

What can I say, except that it was perfect: service, food, desserts, .....bravo!

The food is very good, the welcome is pleasant, the setting is nice, the fireplace is inviting, the only downside is that I find the dining room quite noisy (lunchtime). We recommend it.

The first time, chance (and hunger) led us there. A moment of calm halfway through. Quick and friendly service. Dishes always delicious. We can't help but want to return. Sorry, no opinion on the hotel.

This beautiful hotel and restaurant reminds me of those family businesses where a young couple embarks on an adventure after traveling the world to learn and experiment, returning to the land of their first loves and fond memories. Pierre Franchomme (pronounced [frankôme]) used to come to the riverside inn as a child with his grandparents, and it was only natural that he seized the opportunity to buy the place when he was old enough to forge his own path. Let's be clear, the restaurant is THE essential reason to visit. The hotel complements the offering, but the restaurant is the cornerstone. The cuisine is refined, subtle, and understated. Here, taste prevails over quantity, and the discovery of flavors is combined with a play of textures. The chef's culinary technique reinterprets local products, restoring the prestige of this fine profession. Ideal for a family meal or a romantic dinner, business travelers will also be warmly welcomed with special overnight packages that reflect the quality of the establishment. As for breakfast, every item comes directly from the restaurant's own pastry shop, making it hard to leave because we wanted to try everything. Finally, a hotel-restaurant that truly respects both the ingredients and the customer, offering genuinely affordable prices for what's served.

Located close to, but slightly removed from, Is-sur-Tille, on the banks of a river where trout fishing is popular, in a large park with beautiful trees, this lovely house has undeniable charm. Comfortable, clean, and tidy, with an elevator serving all three levels, you'll sleep like a log in this three-star hotel, especially after dining at the inn, which is part of the property and less than 100 meters from the hotel. The food is excellent and reasonably priced (reservations are recommended as it's very popular). The staff is young, friendly, and efficient. I almost forgot the owner: a giant of a man with a long red beard who has traveled extensively across several continents and settled in this large village of 4,000 inhabitants with his wife, a kind Peruvian woman. They welcome you with great kindness and courtesy. In short, a beautiful stopover that leaves no one indifferent and makes you want to return, both for the pleasantness of the place and the welcome of all these people who dedicate themselves to making your stay pleasant and serene.
