Restaurant Dagsbourg sur Eguisheim

A nice pizzeria by the city wall, with a good outdoor seating area. The pizza was good, the tarte flambée delicious. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the prices are reasonable. We were lucky; reservations are recommended.

We ate here twice, simply delicious!!! The Spätzle were fried until crispy, the tarte flambée (vegetarian) was perfect, and the breaded Cordon Bleu with cream sauce was super tasty. The waiter is very charming; we'll definitely be back.

A typical Alsatian restaurant in its decor, with a crowded dining room and small terraces. Disappointed by the "pizzeria" section; the industrial-looking pizza base could just as easily be used for tarte flambée, the presentation was haphazard, and the flavors and tastes were a mixed bag. Whether eating in or taking away, the same was true. A shame.

Excellent food and top-notch service!

We arrived midweek shortly after opening and were lucky enough to get a table, but they were quickly all full. A reservation is therefore definitely recommended. We ordered a classic tarte flambée as a starter, pizza and steak as main courses, and crème brûlée and ice cream bundt cake for dessert, along with drinks. The drinks and the tarte flambée arrived quickly; the latter was delicious. The main courses came shortly after. The pizza was okay, but could be improved, while the steak was good. The desserts were also tasty, but there was simply too much schnapps in the ice cream bundt cake for my taste. The French certainly aren't afraid of strong spirits, but here it was far too much for me. Overall, it was a pleasant evening. The service was professionally friendly, clearly well-trained, and attentive at just the right moments to refill glasses or check on things. Absolutely recommendable.
