Authentic setting, good food and friendly service. Don't miss the daily specials (Tuesday and Thursday).
PS: misplaced Google map pin, the restaurant is indeed 100m further down, on the bend in the center of the village.
The first thing to note is that Le Restaurant Jaegerthal and Fischer Jean Francois are the same!
Even if there isn't much going on, don't be put off! The restaurant is on the first floor. I can't understand all the bad reviews. We didn't wait forever, nor were the fries oily. Trout was tasty, venison was tasty, a bit tough, but good. Fries delicious.
And incredibly inexpensive! Service like in old times: friendly, honest, old school.
No comparison to the would-be fine restaurants around here.
What can I say: the absolute insider tip. Great food, large portions. Decent price-performance level. Don't be put off by the appearance! Highly recommended. No tourists. Locals only. What was missing: pepper and salt at the table.
