Lots of people in this restaurant. Justified because the dishes are plentiful and excellent. Very pleasant staff. We will come back, you are in our good address book.

It was an unexpected restaurant for us, since we were walking through the streets of this wonderful and charming town and we did not have a place to celebrate this year's New Year's Eve dinner. We went in looking for somewhere to have dinner and the manager kindly made the reservation for us. for that night. We had dinner there very comfortably, in a magical atmosphere, respectful both in the service and in the presentation of the dishes, enjoying a typical Alsatian meal and everything being delicious!! Thank you for making this night so special for me and my family! We will return for sure!

Nice unexpected surprise! Best restaurant I tried among the villages in Alsace. Amazing 3-cheese Tarta Flambée, cordon bleau with fantastic spatzle! All delicious. Unfortunately, the only discordant note was the dessert: the crème brûlée. The cream underneath was cold and the sugar on top wasn't flambéed, so I ate teaspoons of raw sugar still in pellets. It's really a shame about the dessert otherwise it would have been a 5 star on the food too.

A warm and friendly place. The staff is discreet but available for personalized service. To recommend spätzle, sauerkraut but especially the frozen meringue.

restaurant assez sombre, dur à voir ce qu'on mange. le repas est bon cependant. bonne choucroute et bon escaloppe (à 19€ chacun) la serveuse un peu spéciale mais ca va on a été bien traité

Une bonne découverte. Un personnel très sympathique et aimable. Le restaurant est très agréable et une belle terrasse. Les plats sont très copieux et délicieux. On a passé un très bon moment.

18/08/2024: J’ai pris un Jarret de Porc, c’était une tuerie, le service super agréable et professionnel , les conseils et les informations sont top. Merci pour votre accueil, nous avons passé un excellent moment.
22/07/2024: Que dire...repas excellent, servi sur une terrasse ombragée, sans passage de voiture. L'accueil est exceptionnel, la patronne est douce, chaleureuse, sereine, calme. Elle fait tout pour que nous passions un bon moment, et la cuisine de Monsieur fait le reste. J'ai dégusté un jarret de porc au munster...fondant, goûteux, gourmand, avec des spatzeles confectionnés maison. Mon mari s'est tout autant régalé avec un filet mignon à la moutarde. C'était tellement copieux que je n'ai pas pris de dessert. Nous retournerons lors d'un prochain périple en Alsace chez ces belles personnes.

07/09/2024: We had an evening meal here. Very lucky to get a table without reservation. Ate outside. Food was good, as was the service.
01/09/2024: We often go to Alsace and didn't want to eat tarte flambée or something similar again. The restaurant “Caveau Restaurant Stewala” offers more than just traditional Alsatian cuisine. The salmon with balsamic sauce was great and my husband's chicken was also very good. The dessert (Guglhopf glacé and profiteroles) were delicious. Everything at a very good price-performance ratio with very friendly service! We will be very happy to come back!
