Restaurant de l'Alhambra sur Troyes

I was discovering this restaurant with my wife, and my opinion is somewhat mixed. We ordered chicken couscous and ate the chicken first, which was cold! My wife got chicken breast and was happy, but I got a measly chicken leg, which wasn't much meat for a dish that cost €22.50! I've been to couscous restaurants where they were much more generous with the amount of chicken. The vegetables were excellent, everything was hot and very tasty. The service was impeccable. We had tea at the end of the meal. I don't know if it's the restaurant's custom, but the tea wasn't sweet at all, so it was quite bitter. In short, it wasn't bad, but I've had much better couscous with more generous portions.

A warm welcome! We ordered a royal couscous for four adults and two children (7 and 4 years old) to take away for Christmas Eve dinner, and it was a real treat! Bring your own containers accordingly. It was perfect, truly delicious—the vegetable broth, the meat, the semolina, and the harissa. The four portions were ideal for all of us. We'll be back! Marc

A customer for over 50 years, it's still just as good. I stop by whenever I'm in Troyes. The atmosphere has remained stylish, perhaps less convivial than in the very beginning when we were crammed together like sardines around a large central table. But the spirit of kindness is still there.

Excellent, a delicious, generous meal and a friendly setting with perfect service and very nice background music. I highly recommend it.

I ate there today. I had a royal couscous, with excellent merguez sausages. I loved the taste. The chicken was well-cooked and very good, too. The lamb was delicious and melted in your mouth. :) I like the slightly old-fashioned atmosphere of the dining room, with dim lighting; I find it soothing. The chairs are comfortable too. ;)
