In a lounge musical atmosphere, we had the pleasure of sharing several starters. Everything was fresh and homemade. The cecina croquettes, 3 in number, were well stocked and very good. Accompanied by a little wasabi mayonnaise to spice it all up. The duck breast was cooked to perfection accompanied by polenta. Everything came together very well and the seasoning was well done. Regarding the lobster roll, it was delicious and tasty. The brioche was tender, the pieces of lobster and prawns were very present.

Everything I hoped for. The staff are extremely welcoming and helpful.

Home, place full of charm. Perfect location.

We spent 3 wonderful nights in the junior suite at the Hotel des Basses Pyrénées. The staff are super attentive, the quality of the food and overall professionalism is exceptional. In addition, the location is ideal! Just on the edge of the center of this very pretty town of Bayonne...We recommend!

Very good experience. The service is fast and friendly. Very satisfactory cuisine for a reasonable price. The dishes are elaborate, original, well presented. And if you ask, you can opt for wine by the glass rather than a bottle. The place is friendly and calm in the heart of Bayonne. I recommend !

Nice hotel staff a little distant arrangement with the city parking right opposite rather good attention however the announced price of 12 euros is in reality 16.

Excellent cuisine and very pleasant staff

This ancient building has been nicely renovated into a small hotel at the edge of old town. It's a great location for getting around Bayonne and there is nearby discounted parking (park in the Tour de Sault underground parking back by row 7 and then you can take the elevator up to the street basically right across from the hotel - super convenient. The hotel will provide you with the discounted rate and tickets when you check out.) We didn't try the breakfast but the dinner at the restaurant was great! Definitely make reservations to eat here during your stay. The only problem we had was that you cannot control the heating/cooling in your room as this is controlled by the front desk (who aren't there at night) so we opened the window, but then I battled mosquitos, who always seem to find me. After complaining in the morning, they switched it to AC the next night and we slept well.
