A delightful discovery in the heart of the old town. A small menu featuring fresh, carefully prepared dishes. Just the kind of place we love. The shade under the wisteria is very pleasant. In short, a truly excellent spot! Reservations recommended!

Definitely make the detour, everything is perfect: the cuisine is delicate yet full of flavor, good products, the service is also perfect and we are constantly greeted with a smile.

While exploring the town, we stumbled upon this restaurant. It seemed so welcoming that we decided to eat there. We were pleasantly surprised by how delicious everything was and how well the service was. The set menu was very reasonably priced. At first, the portions seemed small, but they were the perfect amount because you're completely full by the end. I highly recommend it. It's a unique blend of flavors that you don't often find.

Eating on the terrace, under the wisteria, on a quiet Thursday, away from the market crowds, in August is already a delight. Then comes the friendliness of the staff… and finally, the menu… A feast for the eyes, the taste buds, and the wallet 🙂 A wonderful experience. I highly recommend this place 👍 Remember to book; it's essential to get a table.

One of our favorite restaurants! Everything is excellent; you can really tell it's all homemade with quality ingredients. The dishes are full of flavor and always perfectly prepared. And on top of that, the service is fantastic: the couple who run the restaurant are lovely, super friendly, and welcoming. A truly wonderful place!

29/09/2026: My wife and I had a wonderful evening meal at this excellent Bistro. The flavours created by chef Henri are devine. He uses local produce with imagination and flair. The concept of a meal of several small dishes is a refreshing change in an area where the food offer at restaurants is usually fairly predictable. Henri's charming wife Joanna heads the front of house team with humour and calm efficiency. They had an impressive local singer and guitarist to provide further entertainment. And the ambience was quirky and brought a smile to our faces. Highly recommended.
28/09/2026: A very friendly restaurant; we felt right at home with a warm welcome from the staff! The value for money is good, and we left satisfied with our visit.

Le Cafe de la Gare

04/10/2026: Good, nice, and inexpensive. A varied and high-quality daily menu. Extensive dessert menu. Located near the city center in a unique building. Indoor dining and terrace. The waiter speaks Spanish and is willing to try Basque, which makes it easy to understand the names of the dishes. He is friendly, professional, and polite, with a great sense of humor. Thank you for the attention, the service, and, of course, the quality of the food. I've attached the dessert menu for those who say there's not enough variety.
22/09/2026: Charming restaurant with even more charming people. We tried the regional dish, "garbure," which we liked so much that we'll have to come back.
