A restaurant perched on the Haut Barr rock above Saverne. The location is magnificent, the service and welcome are very pleasant, and the food is delicious. You absolutely must try their gourmet coffee.

Arriving at the restaurant via a typical medieval cobbled passageway. Magnificent view. I had booked a table requesting a window seat, and this was duly noted; I thank them for that. The service was standard, and the flammekueches were very good. Also worth doing: walks nearby via the staircases. Breathtaking view of Saverne.

For a special occasion: we paid €200 for four people, even though there was a child. The menu included a small slice of tarte flambée, a main course, and a slice of cake 🍰. It was good, but frankly, not fair… 👎

31/01/2026: A great place that I recommend. We had a fantastic meal, and it was quick. The steak was excellent and the fries were simply delicious. I don't regret stopping there at all.
08/01/2026: forget about Burger King this a great burger very tasty, and a good selection of beers. 2 burgers and beer for €38 great value.

17/02/2026: We had a wonderful time there on Sunday, February 15th. The welcome was very friendly and, above all, the meal was excellent...pork cheeks with mirabelle plums for him and salmon and spinach ravioli for her. We highly recommend this place. We will gladly return.
20/01/2026: "A truly excellent culinary discovery! We enjoyed the vegetarian ravioli and the homemade späetzle gratin with green salad, as well as the mushrooms, bacon, and Gruyère cream sauce. Both dishes were absolutely delicious, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Sylvie, the owner, gave us a warm and attentive welcome. The cuisine, prepared by the chef (who is also the owner), is of remarkable quality and exquisitely refined. A place to recommend without hesitation for a truly successful gastronomic experience!"
