Arriving at the restaurant via a typical medieval cobbled passageway. Magnificent view. I had booked a table requesting a window seat, and this was duly noted; I thank them for that. The service was standard, and the flammekueches were very good. Also worth doing: walks nearby via the staircases. Breathtaking view of Saverne.

For a special occasion: we paid €200 for four people, even though there was a child. The menu included a small slice of tarte flambée, a main course, and a slice of cake 🍰.
It was good, but frankly, not fair… 👎

A huge disappointment for two pot-au-feu lovers. One of the two plates was bone marrow with cartilage still attached—look for the marrow!… We had doubts about how long ago this pot-au-feu had been prepared, and the portion of sautéed potatoes was ridiculously small. A real shame and a disappointment for our friends!
However, I gave it three stars because, for me, the warm goat cheese salad was very good. The service was also impeccable.
But as a result, we skipped dessert.

Dinner for two.
The hanger steak with shallots was served in a sauce overflowing with red wine, which wasn't even listed on the menu. The waiter brought the drinks to the wrong table, even though we had a reservation. However, he couldn't find our table… disappointing! When the bill arrived, we were charged extra for a bottle of water costing €7.
