It was raining and yet at the bend of a path while fleeing Espelette, we discovered this restaurant where the welcome was warm. The meal is excellent, the sauces fantastic and the combination of flavors surprising but very successful. (tuna on a bed of beetroot puree with salty popcorn.... A delight)
Bravo and thank you for this beautiful address we will come back and recommend you
We only did the dining part on the terrace. Very good recommendations in the choice of dishes accompanied by explanations and origin of the products offered.
A beautiful and great time spent in the company of people who know their work. The welcome and service of this restaurant is exceptional. Everything is perfect. The dishes are excellent. From starter to dessert, we'll explain and delight you. The plates arrive and then you know it’s going to be very good. And it's very, very good. The chef is only around thirty years old and already he impresses. At the bend of Chemin de Roland.....what a nice surprise. Thanks to the whole team.
This is a magnificent establishment!
The ideal location for many hikes.
The restaurant is excellent. The menu is designed using local products and the staff is very friendly 👍
Well, we were not staying at the hotel, so cannot say much about the rooms. We did however stop at the restaurant after a good hike which built up quite an appetite.
We were greeted by the restaurant owner who obviously loves his job and is passionate about what he served (almost everything from local produce).
I had probably one of the best rib steaks I've ever had with a fantastic pesto garnishing.
We also had a "Tartare de cohcon" as a starter ... which was really a delicious surprise.
This was all to work of a fantastic young chef (which we were fortunate to meet).
Good food, good beer and good wine ! A must if you're in the area.
Thanks for having us.
After a long day of walking, a nice arrival in a beautiful idyllic place. The big surprise was the kitchen: we had a delicious meal here: good local products, perfectly prepared but above all very creative dishes: pork/shrimp tartare, a dessert with a mousse of beetroot and carrot. Above expectations! Highly recommended,
