We visited Chalet Du Lac as a large group of 15 for a 40th birthday dinner in the summer. Plenty of variety on the menu for adults and children, locally sourced produce, great value for money and large portions! Excellent service from the staff, especially Maxim, nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend visiting the restaurant by the lake during your trip to Les Gets.

Fantastic restaurant, with the best view! Perfect for a family evening dinner. The sun sets over the mountains in front of the terrace, and there's also a big play area outside it for the children. The food, drinks and service is exceptional.

I came here with my family (party of 12) for my birthday and it was just stunning. Staff spoke amazing English and were incredibly lovely. We came for pre-drinks and stayed for dinner beyond sunset. View of the lake and mountains made a perfect setting. Food portions are huge! I chose pasta, and could have shared this with another person. Recommend booking! Recommend visiting! Also bonus points for playground near by, kids were entertained all evening.

There were 21 of us bikers for dinner, some of whom already knew this restaurant. We had chosen a set menu in advance with wine included; everything was excellent, very generous portions, the staff were super friendly, and we had a really great time. Thank you to the whole team! Dinner on the terrace with a magnificent view.

Besides the peaceful setting and beautiful surroundings by the lake, everything was delicious and the service was very pleasant and efficient. I highly recommend the Chalet du Lac!

Superb welcome during a party with 50 people on the magnificent terrace with splendid views, top service and succulent meals, a quality that is very rarely found on the slopes of Les Gets - a big thank you to the manager Maxime and his team!

Excellent experience! I just stopped by for a drink, but I received a very warm welcome from the staff, who were very friendly and professional. The location also offers a stunning view of the lake, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend it!

06/04/2026: Fantastic location for skiers with easy access to the slopes. We usually book self catering but as we were in Les Gets for a sneaky final week’s skiing we decided to take the 1/2 board option at John and Nicola’s family owned and managed slope-side hotel. Great food with plenty of choice and an extensive cheese board every evening. Excellent wine list and convivial bar - we had a brilliant week catching up with old friends. And the snow was good too so a fine end to the ski season. See you next year.

16/03/2026: You can't miss the iconic Bacchus: the chef and his pink uniform. And when I say pink… I'm not talking pale pink or baby pink. No, I'm talking a vibrant fuchsia, the kind that will make your eyes pop before you even taste the appetizer. The chef sees life through rose-colored glasses, and it shows: a big smile, a warm welcome, and a team—partly family—that truly goes the extra mile. The food is a delight: delicious, generous, and full of flavor. The atmosphere is friendly, and there's even a playroom to keep the kids entertained while their parents enjoy their meal in peace. In short, a place where you eat very well and have a truly wonderful time. Needless to say, I can't wait to go back!
19/02/2026: We’ve been coming to Bacchus by Crychar for years. It’s our favourite place for a late lunch. Greg, Céline and the team are always so welcoming, the food is incredible and wine delicious! Tip… get the kids food in and then send them off to the play room… and relax!!!
