Feels more like a Grand Café. A large round table in the corner where patrons drink and chat loudly. Furthermore, a fairly business atmosphere (there is nothing wrong with that) and a menu with not too much choice. Dishes are not seasoned enough for my taste, with the exception of a more than excellent fish soup. Fine for a quick bite to eat, but don't expect haute cuisine

Wissembourg is a very nice town with many opportunities. In “Du Saumon” you can eat regional food and it is very tasty 😋. The beer garden is also nice but it was too cool for that today. But the interior is also cozy.

Best tarte flambée. Service is very good. The wine might be a bit expensive for German standards. But you don't have to drink wine. What counts for me is the service and the very good tarte flambée.

14/08/2024: We come to this restaurant regularly, especially for its Alsatian specialties, my husband really likes the baeckeoff, the ham brewed in beer, I really like the tartes flambées, the drinks are cheaper than in other restaurants. The atmosphere of the restaurant is surprising but I find it cool. The boss is very nice as is his waitress. I had forgotten the delicious goat cheese salad. Large terrace when it's not raining.

09/12/2024: Very nice pre-Christmas weekend with very friendly service from the owners. Spacious, modern room with a half-timbered wall. Rich breakfast buffet. We felt very comfortable. Right in the center and yet quiet. Large selection of restaurants all around. We'll definitely come back.
04/10/2024: Adorable team! Adorably vintage premises! I wasn't able to try the restaurant because it was full, which is a good sign! Thank you Sir for the explanations on the instrument for uncapping eggs. Thank you Madam for the date of completion of the ceiling!
