The hotel and restaurant were very friendly, as were all the staff. We ate very well. There were eight of us, and everyone agreed. We'll definitely be back.

We spent three nights at the hotel and ate in the restaurant one evening. The breakfast was very good, and I was very pleased with the large selection of loose teas.
On two nights, I heard mice in the wall (not in the room itself!), even very close to the bed. The rooms were only cleaned if you left your room key on the key board in the entrance area, where anyone could access it. The room door itself had a very simple lock. The balcony door only opened if you kicked it hard downstairs. The bathroom was new, but the shower had hardly any water pressure.
In the restaurant, we didn't get any bottled water despite ordering, while the waitress proactively offered it to the table next door. The bill wasn't brought to our table either. The tarte flambée had too much cheese and topping for my taste, making it rather soggy. To pay, we had to go to the cashier, where we were treated like special cases, even though we spoke French. The only question was whether we wanted to add the meal to the room bill or pay now. I don't know why this couldn't be resolved at the table. I felt like a second-class guest in the restaurant.
After reading several Google reviews of this hotel and restaurant, I would like a less sarcastic and snotty response than some of the other reviews have received. If that's not possible, please just leave my review uncommented.
