Its fantastic. We went here 4 out of the 6 days , the food is fantastic, the service is fantastic they make jokes and are really friendly its really calm and just nice, its busy here the whole week it shows that its really good!
Would recommend!!!

I don’t know where those old reviews come from (new chef?), as the food here is the best we had in Val Thorens and the service was excellent. Very friendly staff and amazing food - brilliant

We've eaten at La Face Ouest several times and it's always been a real pleasure. The quality is consistently excellent and the atmosphere is always so pleasant.
Special mention goes to the Madeleine de la Face, the perfectly cooked cod, the flavorful cacio e pepe pasta, and the chocolate mousse… simply incredible! A huge congratulations to the chef!
Top-notch service, a welcoming team—we'll definitely be back every time we're in Val Thorens.

This restaurant is far more than a restaurant that simply cooks great food (although the lasagne and the focaccia that we ordered were delicious).
I came in on crutches after a bad fall, and the owner, Kevin, was very kind and attentive throughout. At the end of the meal, he even offered me a lift back to my hotel when he saw I was struggling, which was so kind.
It’s clearly a long-standing, family-run place, and that comes across in how they treat their customers. Would definitely recommend.

Tonight, at the live music with a fabulous singing duo, we had a fantastic dance atmosphere!
It's a shame that a woman who didn't introduce herself (I assume the manager) came and asked us to leave if we didn't "buy a drink," claiming she was "paying the musicians," even though we had all ordered drinks and two of us hadn't even finished them...

Incredible singers and very friendly waiters.
It's a shame the same can't be said for the supposed owner (who didn't introduce herself) who asked us to leave before we'd even finished our drinks because, and I quote, "we pay the musicians, you have to order." I should mention that there were five of us and we all ordered drinks.
Really unpleasant, it ruined our experience.

The very best location in Val Thorens. Right on the slopes, stunning views. Relaxed atmosphere, and you won't find friendlier staff. And the food is excellent!! Everything is spotlessly clean, even the toilets. Thank you so much, Kevin and staff. You gave us unforgettable days.
