Found this one quite by accident, and it is one of those traditional Paris bistros I wish I knew of the first time I went there many years ago. Service is faultless and food really is a bargain at lunch when we visited.

Excellent restaurant serving truly good French cuisine! My glass of Menetou-Salon was also very good. Set menu for €20!

Perhaps thanks to the rain, or the time of day, or maybe it's always like this, we were able to get a seat without waiting around 4 PM on Sunday. We ordered aligot and onion soup. The onion soup was very comforting to our bodies chilled by the rain and wind. The sausage in the aligot was meaty and delicious.

Stopped by here for a late lunch upon our arrival in Paris. The Croque Monsieur was fantastic. So yummy. The fries were done perfectly. The steak and fries was also tasty. Large portions. Great atmosphere. Reasonable prices.

25/05/2026: Excellent food and top-notch service. The Star Tartare was incredible, the best I've ever had.
18/05/2026: Restaurant with a set menu at lower prices than areas like Notre Dame! Exquisite food, prepared by a chef! Welcoming atmosphere with great music! Very friendly and polite waiters! A great experience for Brazilians!
