A great find at this restaurant serving fish, meat, couscous, pasta, and hamburgers. I ordered a dish cooked in a clay pot (gargoulette) and I highly recommend it; the meat was incredibly tender and the rice was perfectly seasoned with a curry sauce. The waiter was friendly and we were served quite quickly. I recommend their tea and French toast for dessert. Good value for money. A place not to be missed.

A wonderful discovery! This restaurant is right below the mosque. They offer a small aperitif and a glass of mint tea when you finish your meal, which I really appreciated. I had the veal tagine with almonds, prunes, and apricots—it was delicious! With the set menus, it's really affordable, and the value for money is excellent. I recommend the pineapple smoothie—it's divine! 😍 I highly recommend it; the staff is very kind and attentive. 👌🏻 This is my second time here. The "Lamb cooked in a clay pot with rice" was also very good; I highly recommend it—delicious! 😋

19/07/2026: Fantastic experience, it had been a long time since I'd been... absolutely not disappointed, the ribs were amazing... And a very generous gourmet coffee, fast service and a pleasant waiter, flawless, I highly recommend it and will be back as soon as possible...
16/07/2026: First time having lunch with friends at this Hippopotamus restaurant. I was delighted with the experience. I had ribs with fries that were perfectly cooked. We finished with an ice cream dessert, all in a pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant is air-conditioned and the service is quick and attentive. The price-quality ratio is good. I recommend this place and will return as soon as possible.
