Excellent food for a reasonable price

Very tasty dishes, I had the starter of the day (pumpkin velouté) and the lamb sweetbreads. The prices are high but with the Lafourchette discount the value for money is very good. Friendly service.

Nice place but overpriced! All the desserts are 14€ and do not deserve this price at all: a lemon tart that you can find in the yogurt section of a supermarket, a pistachio creme brulee, without pistachio, and served in a bowl with cereals and as for the dishes, I had a sea bass ceviche cut into large cubes, very stringy, not very pleasant in the mouth... Quite disappointing, at least for the price... too bad.

We went there and had a lovely time. The starter and main course were delicious and well seasoned. The piece of beef (chateaubriand) was succulent as well as the ravioli and forest egg casserole as starters. Small downside for the dessert which was unfortunately too sweet and disgusting because of the boudoirs which were much too sweet. The setting is very intimate and the staff take great care. Don’t hesitate to take a detour!

Le Bossu is very well located on île Saint-Louis and the food was very good! Definitely try the effiloché de canard or the tataki de canard, as well as the escargots!
