Restaurant Khue Danh sur Megeve

It was unexpected to find a good Asian restaurant in the mountains! As a big fan of Chinese and Thai cuisine, I ate there three times during the two weeks we spent in Megève and I highly recommend it!

Very good sushi, I recommend the stir-fried noodles with vegetables, a real treat, and great sushi too.

A rather paradoxical experience: it's both one of the best Chinese restaurants I've ever eaten at, but unfortunately also one of those where I've experienced the worst service. We waited almost an hour for our food, which arrived well after my wife's sushi. The same was true for dessert: nearly a 25-minute wait for a single scoop of ice cream included in the set menu. It was only when he saw our frustration that the waiter finally started preparing it. It's a real shame, because the food is excellent and definitely worth the trip. I would therefore recommend it for the quality of the dishes… but only if you have plenty of time!

We arrived at 8:00 PM. After two hours, I still hadn't received my meal because it had been forgotten… I find that unacceptable, especially considering the price. The food is good, but that's not everything… If you're in a hurry or very hungry, avoid the evenings when it's crowded!

Don't be fooled by appearances, this restaurant is truly delicious, both the food and the service are excellent… Go without hesitation, it's definitely worth the trip, special mention for the hot plate dish with "chef's sauce" It's a big YES!
