A huge thank you to Salima who prepared lunch for 40 people! The Mexican meal was delicious, plentiful, and beautifully presented. The homemade tortillas were a hit with everyone! See you soon!

I had a wonderful meal at this excellent restaurant, which I highly recommend. The staff was warm and welcoming. A starter, main course, and dessert were very reasonably priced. I go back regularly because I know I won't be disappointed. Highly recommended!

The food was excellent. A community-run restaurant with volunteers who have big hearts. The menu prices were more than reasonable!

A stop at this restaurant before catching a train at the station across the street was a very pleasant surprise! The value for money is outstanding, the drinks and food are excellent (vegetarian options available), and the 60s/70s ambiance gives this place a special atmosphere. It's also run by volunteers who organize conferences and other events! In short, a stop I highly recommend if you're passing through Bourg-en-Bresse.

Brasserie Notre-Dame, France

20/09/2026: It was great for a shepherd, very good, I loved it 😁👍 except for one small thing: the plastic in my salad 😉 but otherwise, highly recommended 😁😁
19/08/2026: A restaurant with a pleasant outdoor seating area near the town's theater square. The menu is typically French brasserie, with options for all tastes and a variety of dishes. Brilliant and helpful service, and the water vapor from the umbrellas provides refreshment even on the hottest heatwave days—a great solution. The only downside is the large number of wasps and insects that circulate around the tables during the meal; if you're scared, they can be quite a nuisance... Overall a positive experience, highly recommended! Slightly high value for money.
