Restaurant La Canaille sur Bourg-En-Bresse

A stop at this restaurant before catching a train at the station across the street was a very pleasant surprise! The value for money is outstanding, the drinks and food are excellent (vegetarian options available), and the 60s/70s ambiance gives this place a special atmosphere. It's also run by volunteers who organize conferences and other events! In short, a stop I highly recommend if you're passing through Bourg-en-Bresse.

Great restaurant run by a charity that helps people in need. The staff are volunteers, hence the lack of professionalism in the service, but who cares? The food is good and the people are friendly. Be aware, though, that there's only one set menu. You don't have a choice. Everything is very good, but if you're vegetarian, it might not be the right choice for you.
