Had a copious meal for €18: starter, main course, dessert + cheese. Honest, tasty food and friendly service. Clearly a place known by the locals because it is almost full. Highly recommended!

I had a truly wonderful time. The dishes were refined, expertly prepared, and absolutely delicious. You can taste the care that goes into every detail in the kitchen. The service was also very pleasant, with a welcoming and attentive team. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back!

28/08/2026: We had a very good meal with the family; the dishes were high quality and plentiful.
27/08/2026: A wonderful discovery in Bourg-en-Bresse: "La Maison des Jacobins!" This restaurant is ideally located and boasts a superb outdoor terrace, pleasantly shaded by parasols, with a charming fountain in the square and the gentle sound of flowing water. The welcome is warm and friendly. All the servers are very attentive, kind, and caring. I was accompanied by someone with reduced mobility, and there were no access problems whatsoever, whether in an electric or manual wheelchair. As for the food, it was a real treat! My colleague opted for the Bresse chicken with morel sauce and new potatoes, while I chose the dish of the day, a heart-shaped meat dish – "EXCELLENT!" I highly recommend La Maison des Jacobins, both for the quality of its menu and, above all, for the kindness and attentiveness of the entire team. 👏😊
