Restaurant La Casa Scara sur Val-D'Isere

Great restaurant with excellent service. This is a well set, cosy place that is excellent for individuals, small groups and large groups as well had dinner here on our last night before heading home with friends. The staff are superb and well trained, the wait staff let us speak French and were kind enough to speak English where we failed. The choices of food and drink are very good, there are lots of sauces to choose from, lots of options for pastas and gnocchi, and if you are vegetarian there are good options too! It’s not just pasta though there are meat options as well. The wine and beers are good and there are some lovely options. The price is pretty good considering how far up the mountain this is and I really enjoyed my meal, the service we received and the restaurant in general. The chefs came out to check the restaurant a few times which I personally like, as it lets you know they care how you are getting on. Would really recommend this place!

Excellent meal this lunchtime with my son and my little dog, very friendly welcome with even a small bowl of water on arrival! Delicious dish of the day, my son's bolo gnocchi to die for, tender, almost as good as those of my Italian grandmother... I would happily return.

The dishes offered are very uneven both in quality and quantity. In addition, the lack of commercial sense in the service is a real shame: my husband asks for a little vegetables and a little polenta when he has to choose between the 2: he is told that this will count as an additional garnish at €5. Too bad for an à la carte dish for €29...

We had risotto tartufe and risotto parmesan with shrimps, top class! We were very pleased and service was swift and friendly! Highly recommended!

Nous étions déjà venus l'année dernière ,comme c'était très bon nous sommes revenus cette année .Cuisine délicieuse aussi bien pour les adultes que pour les enfants .Si nous revenons l'an prochain à Val d'Isère nous viendrons à nouveau diner chez vous .
