The meal was very good, the food was delicious. However, the service staff weren't the friendliest. And the music was a bit too loud for my taste. The more people there were, the louder they got.

Thank you to all the staff for the warm welcome; they were all so kind. The restaurant is as welcoming as the staff, you really feel at home there.
And their raclette… delicious! It had been a long time since I'd had such a good raclette. Plus, it was all-you-can-eat, but already very generous: we couldn't even finish it, there was so much! 😍

Food was really good and the atmosphere nice. A woodfire always helps. If you want to eat in time, you probably should go somewhere else as it took them over an hour to serve our main dish.

We didn't need to book as we arrived at noon, but I think booking is recommended! Regional specialties, and the cheese portion is generous. We ate well. A little pricey.

Greetings from Germany!
We spent two weeks in Châtel this summer, and this restaurant kept drawing us back – first out of curiosity, then out of sheer conviction. The food was simply amazing: the spare ribs were so tender they practically fell off the fork, and the cheese fondue was incredible! Not to mention the incredible meat platter cooked over an open fire (a DIY gas burner). But even more important than the food were the little extras that made the visit unforgettable:
1. Always complimentary ice-cold still water
2. Always complimentary salted peanuts
3. A complimentary nightcap before leaving
4. The staff is consistently friendly and charming
5. English is spoken perfectly – not something you can take for granted in France!
