Pizza-wise 🍕: Everything is on the menu: organic flour, French pizza school, homemade—you'd expect a quality pizza. Although good and well-topped, not all the promises are kept. The dough isn't risen, and it doesn't taste like sourdough. Its texture is elastic and lacks flavor and salt. It's far too perfectly round to be hand-kneaded, and the traces of fine semolina suggest it's industrially made or machine-made. I had the chorizo, and I noticed that even though the ingredients are fresh, the tomato pulp isn't cooked and certainly came from a can. The disappointment is real, even if the overall taste is there. But, in my opinion, it's not worth the €16.90 I paid. Drink-wise 🥤: be careful! The menu says 33cl, and we were served in a 25cl glass. Dessert-wise 🍮: the menu advertises a master pastry chef, but ultimately, there's no tiramisu on the menu. We were tempted by a gourmet coffee and the petits fours from the restaurant's partner pastry shop, "Pêche Gourmand." The desserts don't live up to the promise; I even wonder if they were made fresh. The service is attentive and friendly, and the young man is pleasant and attentive. That's a real plus. In the end, we went for a pizza at Place Ducale in Charleville-Mézières. The restaurant is pleasant and the food is good; it's just the promises made on the menu that try to over-embellish a nice bride.
