Regarding the pizza 🍕: everything is stated on the menu: organic flour, French pizza-making school, homemade—you expect a quality pizza. While tasty and generously topped, not all the promises are kept. The dough hasn't risen and doesn't have the sourdough flavor. Its texture is elastic, and it lacks flavor and salt. Far too perfectly round to be hand-kneaded, the traces of fine semolina suggest it's industrially produced or machine-made. I ordered the chorizo, and I noticed that even though the ingredients are fresh, the tomato pulp isn't cooked and certainly came from a can. The disappointment is real, even if the overall taste is there. But in my opinion, it's not worth the €16.90 I paid. Regarding the drinks 🥤: beware! The menu stated 33cl, but we were served in a 25cl glass. As for dessert 🍮: the menu advertises a master pastry chef, but there was no tiramisu on the menu. We opted for a gourmet coffee and the petits fours from the "Pêche Gourmand" pastry shop, a partner of the restaurant. The desserts didn't live up to expectations; I even wondered if they were freshly made that day. The service was attentive and friendly; the young man was pleasant and helpful. That's a real plus. In the end, we went to eat pizza in the Place Ducale in Charleville-Mézières. The restaurant is pleasant, and the food is good; it's just that the promises made on the menu are a bit too tempting.
