Restaurant La Pastorale sur Cereste

Good morning. La pastorale offers a menu for 36 euros. Expensive for the content on the plate. We are used to the surrounding restaurants. +15 euros difference on the bill and taking wine by the pitcher. In short, half-empty plates, adding a potato or other vegetable to garnish would be a good idea. +++bones to spoil the pleasure of eating a fish fillet. A little catch-up on dessert. But not enough for us to come back and advertise it. Afterwards it was good. But....

For me it is the best restaurant there is, but that has a special reason. Maarten is a top chef and makes the tastiest dishes. If you haven't eaten here then you are missing out. Go there and be surprised.

A splendid courtyard where you can stop for a lunch break if you are traveling along the state road. We would never have discovered it if we hadn't done this type of traveling trip. Kind and attentive waitresses. Fixed price menu with the possibility of choosing between different dishes. Perfect value for money. Very good food.

2022 / Respect for the whole team and high regard. What's on the table here, in the middle of the country... Hassle-free reservation via Googlemaps (strongly recommended), attentive and friendly welcome, water, aperitif, changing menu, beautiful terrace with old trees, two larger indoor rooms and the food soooo delicious and inexpensive! Restaurent has a great set menu with various and delicious options, we loved our meals and the atmosphere at the terrasse was so nice as well. Very recommended if you are in the Area

Beautiful setting for lunch with fine cuisine and friendly staff

The setting is romantic, charming 💖 Gourmet style! With little on the plate... nothing transcendent... a little goat cheese and some classic raw vegetables! a thin slice of trout on a little improved semolina! Raspberry tartlet without flavor... the dough was not particularly good! Neither does the crene! The macaroon meh…. Beautiful presentation of the plates!!! But at night I had to get up to eat something! I was hungry!!!! Sorely lacking in generosity on the plates!!!!! …the little extra would be little cushions for the buttocks! The chairs are not pleasant in my opinion!!!!

Minimalist cuisine despite long descriptions on the menu, and totally disorganized service. Too bad... It used to be much better. Pretty good though. No more.

Between a farandole of starters, desserts and an individual beef wellington that is just perfect, the cuisine is a score without false notes. The perfect setting. And the welcome as well as the flawless service. Well done ladies and gentlemen and thank you for this lovely moment
