Restaurant La Pie Noir sur Paris

From start to finish, this is a GEM of a restaurant in Paris, France!! We were warmly greeted at the front door by Cassandra and Katia. These two ladies are an OUTSTANDING wait team who make your evening so enjoyable and a pleasure to watch how they work together in tandem. Surely winners of any awards for SUPERIOR customer service. The menu contains roughly 6 Entrees (appetizers) and one was more outstanding than the next. Our party of 3 had foix gras and the most delicious long clams in butter sauce that I have ever eaten. Could have had them for start, middle and dessert! My wife had a huge grilled pork chop (and I do mean huge) that was superb. I had the steak which was cooked to perfection and beyond delicious, tasty and tender. Dessert consisted of an amazing Creme Brulee (but many other super choices were on the menu as well)! Entree and main course are fixed at €30 OR entree plus main plus dessert is about €39. A few delicacies are also available at a small upcharge (like the massive Grilled Pork Chop). This was one of the best evenings and meals that we have ever had! Kudos to the chef and Kudos to Cassandra and Katia.

We went there for dinner with my sister during June 2024. Food was great, the people were lovely, super kind! We were not treated like first commers but like regulars in the place. It was a great evening for us. 100% recommended.

What a fantastic experience! We came on a Saturday night without a booking but they found us a table without much wait, we had a glass of wine by the bar in the meantime. Staff and service wise, the owner (or at least he seemed the owner!) was super welcoming, and everyone was super friendly and helpful. Even the chefs, we chat briefly with them and they were lovely. Shout out to Cassandra: we met her in a different restaurant in Paris years ago and we were so happy to meet her again. She goes above and beyond for the customers and makes everything better. In terms of food it was just delicious. Big portions and they have menus that are good value considering the amount of food and the quality. We shared one starter and one dessert, and we had one main each, and it was more than enough food. I can't recommend this place enough, everything is outstanding. I would advise to book as it's quite small.

Petit bistrot parisien plein de charme. La carte n'est pas trop chargée et les plats sont joliment présentés. Nous avons régalé nos papilles de l'entrée au dessert! Et l'accueil était parfait. Petit couple à disposition des clients "internationaux" (français, anglais,espagnol)...au top!

Great restaurant I recommend it ++ the dishes are excellently cooked sauces, products, meats of very good quality. I had a pork chop the size of a prime rib!!! never seen that, the lamb shank is to die for The starters are top, the marrow bone is very well cooked, the ravioli are very tasty, nothing to complain about Good value for money And for the welcome I don't even know what to tell you, welcomed like at home, Cassandra a love, her mother very dynamic and jovial Thanks also to the very pleasant chef who came to meet us An address not to be missed 🎊🎊
