We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and were delighted with this discovery. The dishes and desserts were delicious and inventive. The service was impeccable. The very organized and efficient service might be a little slow when ordering à la carte, but that's to be expected with good cuisine, and we were prepared for it. The many people next to us who had chosen the set menu (generous and apparently delicious, and at a very reasonable price) seemed to have been served quickly. Don't let the negative reviews, which we found unjustified, influence you... Highly recommended!

The food is very good and plentiful. Excellent value for money. It's a shame that the coldness, the curt responses, and the waitress's lack of friendliness discouraged us from returning.

The food was very good, however the meal was ruined by the cold welcome and the mediocre and unfriendly service; a short course in customer management would do it a world of good and it doesn't have much competition around.

The food was quite good, but the portions were small. The real downside was the curt and unfriendly manner of the waitress. She was clearly pleasant with regulars but had a difficult relationship with passersby. It's a shame, it ruined everything!

Great restaurant, good service, delicious food. Fine wines. Do know that you need to make a reservation. And that is possible from 18:00.

22/07/2026: I stopped by for a coffee and they were closing. Yet, they served me a very nice espresso! The waiter is a very nice perso, active and very friendly! Recommended 100%!

McDonald's

09/10/2026: My first visit to McDonald’s in France, here in Pontarlier. Having come from the US, I find that a few things are different - where is the Quarter Pounder?, but free WiFi at McDonald’s must be universal. I like the Halloween decorations. The men’s room was very clean.
05/10/2026: I often use the Drive service and I would like to emphasize that the staff there are always friendly, smiling and very polite; this is very pleasant and rare, especially in today's world!
