We ate very well, appreciated the wine advice, the human warmth and the conviviality.

An 80th birthday meal and experience to remember. What a treat. Brilliant proposition for lunch by a knowledgable, very patient and understanding owner, which really made our day. The food, wine and service were impeccable. We were so pleased with our visit to the Restaurant de la Plage and would have no hesitation in recommending this fine establishment to anyone visiting Boulogne who wishes to experience French cuisine at its finest.

A French place, which reflects our gastronomy and our know-how. Top service (by the boss) who knows his job and loves gastronomy. A brigade, which cooks quality dishes.

Update Dec 2023. Once again been for the most delicious lunch here. Service is impeccable, wine suggestions were spot on and the food was as good as I've eaten in any Michelin 1 star restaurant. Cannot recommend this place enough. A real diamond!! ********* 2022 Best in Boulogne.... this place is an absolute diamond. If i was told it had One Michelin star id believe it. Don't bother go anywhere else....it will not/cannot beat this (and I've tried most if the options) Unpretentious and personal service from husband and wife Team. Whoever is in the kitchen is a fantastic talent. The combinations are creative and delicious. To have on the same plate the most beautiful turbot, sea bass AND foie gras (cooked) is beyond indulgent but wow was it amazing. The stater of scallops, crayfish, salmon in a creamy sauce was a triumph too. Wine list is varied with great recommendations from the main man at very decent prices Also, they make a real effort to speak English to members of our group that didn't speak any French. What a delightful meal. Will be back every time I pass here without exception....

Restaurant discovered by chance and it was a pleasure lunch. The dishes are tasty with very well-measured sauces. Well matched wines.

The impeccable table service, the very friendly, dynamic and smiling staff. We had the scallops menu The dishes are very well presented with quality plates and cutlery. Fresh and seasonal products, with controlled cooking. Exceptional from aperitif to dessert. We were delighted. I highly recommend it.
