A getaway with my husband, planned two months in advance: car, accommodation, meals, and activities between rain showers and the tides. Overall, the stay was decent, with a few positive points, notably good food at the restaurant and a nice wine list.
However, several things significantly marred our experience. During two meals we had there—one costing over €50 and the other €40—we were served the exact same vegetable side dishes. We were also treated to a charcuterie platter that looked like it came straight from a supermarket and a soup so salty it seemed like the salt shaker had been spilled in it. As for the wine service, it's a shame the waiters weren't attentive: neither of them thought to refill our glasses before we finished our main course.
The staff, for their part, seemed to vary depending on their mood. One waitress appeared to be able to control her emotions, while another was particularly abrupt. If I had been alone, I probably would have left. The overall impression is of an overwhelmed, inattentive staff who operate on autopilot, without any real attention to the guests. This is regrettable, as their technical skills do not compensate for their lack of interpersonal skills.
As for the hotel itself, the prices are high for a service that does not meet the advertised expectations. Throughout my stay, a persistent smell of urine filled the room. The toilet bowl was clearly not cleaned properly, which reinforced this impression of unsanitary conditions. The sheets were only changed once in five days. The decorative fabric cushions on the bed mainly convey a lack of hygiene; it would be better to leave them out altogether. As for the pillows, they were soft and yellowed and definitely needed replacing. A little baking soda and vinegar would do wonders…
I will not return to this establishment and I will not recommend it. We also spoke with several local residents, who have noticed a decline in quality over time. Unfortunately, only tourists passing through seem to be able to fall for it anymore.
In 2026, it would also be time to seriously consider accessibility and compliance with the 2005 law concerning public places. Since the CEO is presented as the owner of numerous businesses in the port, it would be wise to invest more in staff training, as well as in hygiene and accessibility improvements.

Everything was excellent, from the appetizer to the dessert.

An exceptional stay at this hotel with a sea view! The room was comfortable, clean, and offered a magnificent panorama right from the moment we woke up. The staff were particularly welcoming, warm, and always available to meet our needs. The service was impeccable, and the overall atmosphere very pleasant. A true haven of peace where you immediately feel at ease. I highly recommend this establishment and will gladly return!

We stopped for lunch on the day of the scallop festival.
The setting is pleasant and nicely decorated, which suggested a lovely experience.
However, we were disappointed by the dishes offered that day. The menu was limited, which is understandable for a special event, but the quality simply wasn't there. The scallop pasta, priced at €26, was very basic: buttered pasta with scallops, no real sauce, just a little garlic. The price was hard to justify.
Finally, the coffees were also subpar, to the point that we had to send them back. Overall, a disappointing experience despite the promising setting.

Back again for the scallop festival under a summer sun at La Table de Jeanne: a delicious meal and warm welcome.
