Restaurant la Verrière sur Saint-Malo

Very warm and top notch service.

We were at the hotel for 4 days We had dinner the first 2 evenings at Cap Horn and the last evening at La Verrière and it was a disappointment… Nothing to say about the service but what is the cuisine…. I took a vegetarian bowl which was nothing like a bowl... since it was several assortments (rice quinoa ratatouille chickpeas) placed on a plate You could have said it was mixed leftovers Result of sick accounts in the morning…. My partner had Saint Pierre, it was overcooked… A lot of noise which I think is due to the glass roof, it resonates quite a bit The price is excessive which I think is due to the surroundings but as a result the food did not match… In short, I wouldn't go back

Having come for a 6-day thalassotherapy treatment at the Grand Hôtel des Thermes where the restaurant is located, I took half-board. So I ate 6 consecutive evenings in this restaurant and in terms of cuisine there were zero missteps for me. I ate well, varied, the service was pleasant (a few downsides on the people taking the orders who sometimes lack a smile and warmth). High quality desserts. I always came away feeling full knowing that I'm a big eater (and that I skipped lunch at midday). Being alone I really liked being able to eat at a table d'hôtes where single people who wish can meet. In other words I recommend this restaurant without a doubt.
