La Vieille Braise sur Lanvallay

We had a wonderful time on the terrace, enjoying the sunshine and a delicious meal. The staff were very pleasant and even gave us time to enjoy an aperitif. A very good place to eat.

Hello, I believe this is the first time we've left a comment like this… But unfortunately, sometimes we have no choice but to make certain people aware of things. We came to eat, the meal was excellent, a little pricey for our taste, very fresh and refined. Despite everything, the staff was attentive, smiling, helpful, adorable, and above all, very courageous. Thank you again. The biggest problem with this establishment remains the owner. We had already been told, but to this extent? How can you ruin a reputation? An unpleasant owner asks her staff for everything, incapable of taking care of a table alone, makes very derogatory remarks to the staff in front of the customers. Yet the problem comes from her; she does nothing except take orders and collect payment. Very disappointing. (As the manager of an establishment, I would never allow myself to belittle my staff as you did. We tried, unfortunately. First and last time…)

I give it a 5 compared to other restaurants in its category. The cuisine features fresh, seasonal ingredients. The three set menus offered are well-thought-out. There's an interesting wine list. The decor and cleanliness are impeccable. The owner is very friendly, attentive, and clearly loves her work. There's a large, private dining room or a terrace suitable for larger groups. We loved it.

I highly recommend this restaurant; it's divine! The fish is excellent, the seafood skewers are divine—truly superb! I'll be back because everything is top-notch, from the service to the food. Divinely presented. Everything is perfect: the welcome, the service, the meal. Thank you for this wonderful experience. Bravo!

We had a fantastic time with the family at La Vieille Braise. The food was excellent, the service top-notch, and the staff very welcoming. A major plus: it's a place designed for children with outdoor games (rackets, skittles, jump rope, etc.) and indoor games (sketchbooks, puzzle books, and other books).
