Restaurant l'Absinthe Cafe sur Saint-Malo

28/06/2026: Upon arrival, a young man seated us at a table for two. We asked him if it would be possible to be seated inside, but his response was, "That doesn't suit me." A rather unprofessional and unwelcoming reply. Later, a red-haired waiter came to take our order. His only word was, "Well?" No polite greeting, no presentation of the dishes, no explanation of the menu, not even a question to help us choose. Again, the service was clearly lacking in professionalism. Fortunately, our evening was saved by Tina, who brought us our plates. I asked her name, and she replied with a big smile and a gentle voice. Her warm welcome, kindness, and professionalism completely changed our experience. A big thank you to Tina for her excellent attitude. We hope to have the pleasure of seeing her again on our next visit.

27/06/2026: The food is very good and the price is reasonable considering the location. The place is quiet despite being busy. The servers are friendly and very efficient. However, the major drawback is the manager, who speaks very rudely to his employees in front of customers, even though, as I said, the servers are friendly, very professional, and responsive. For him, the only goal is to quickly fill his tables to maximize profits... Anyway, good luck to the servers for the season...
