A wonderful discovery during our visit to Roanne. The welcome and service were top-notch, the food was beautifully presented in both quantity and quality – perfect for an evening with friends. It's a shame the rain prevented us from enjoying the terrace by the water. But the interior was also very pleasant.

07/08/2026: Lunch was very pleasant. The main courses and desserts were excellent. They even provided a small bowl of water for the dog.
07/08/2026: This was my first time eating at Le Rempart. The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. However, I found the service a bit slow: we waited about 20 minutes just to be served our aperitifs, while people who arrived after us were served much sooner. The meal was good, but I don't think the value for money is exceptional. It's also a shame that the staff weren't always smiling; that would have made the experience more pleasant.
