I would have liked to give 5 stars, but I encountered a problem with the fondue: it separated. There was a liquid layer on top that I couldn't mix with the bottom by stirring. My question for the owner is: is this normal? Thank you for your reply. Everything else was perfect, and the fondue tasted very good, as did the charcuterie and the nice little salad.

Fantastic restaurant! A first for me during my visit to Roanne. Everything was delicious and generous, and the crepes were excellent (the best I've ever had!). I'll definitely be back. The service was perfect and very cozy. The waitress was very kind and smiling! Everything was perfect!

07/08/2026: Lunch was very pleasant. The main courses and desserts were excellent. They even provided a small bowl of water for the dog.
07/08/2026: This was my first time eating at Le Rempart. The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. However, I found the service a bit slow: we waited about 20 minutes just to be served our aperitifs, while people who arrived after us were served much sooner. The meal was good, but I don't think the value for money is exceptional. It's also a shame that the staff weren't always smiling; that would have made the experience more pleasant.
