Restaurant Le Cerf sur Chatel

Enjoyed a friendly & comfortable stay in summer for 4 nights here, our room was upgraded to slightly larger size, very clean & well appointed. Great shower, large bed, balcony facing the side, looking to the mountain. Had a tasty dinner in the restaurant one evening, food was excellent & service delightful. Did not try the hotel breakfast as used the local bakery for this & our picnic food. A cooling fan may have helped in the room for the summer temperatures, we opened the patio doors for air. We liked the pool & sauna etc, especially as it was never busy! Robes & shoes an excellent idea to provide for guests. Overall a lovely alpine style hotel with modern facilities. I would recommend staying here. We love Châtel & have skied here often with our family, so may return to Macchi Hotel sometime.

We discovered this place during a family getaway. A truly blissful escape. The setting is charming, the family history remarkable, and the service impeccable. A huge thank you for the warm welcome. We will definitely return when the weather is nicer. The Annecy team.
