We’ve stopped here while skiing a number of times over the years for a quick lunch time bite. This year the staff have been excellent. Only criticism would be that space on the sunny area of the deck is limited. Ps we’re a Scottish couple and the staff’s english was much better than our French.

In the top ! Very good team and very good cuisine! I came for a pizza and I come back again, very good and well stocked! Best pizza in Vars, don’t hesitate!

Excellent pizzas. On our menu the chef, the Armenian and the royal. The pizzas are plentiful (count one pizza for two adults) the homemade dough is crispy. The friendly chef Valérie explained to us how she made her pizzas but did not give us all the manufacturing secrets to maintain a little mystery... We highly recommend!

Very hearty! Friendly service and excellent food. It's a shame that there's no longer calf's head and tartare on the menu, but the new offerings are also excellent!

Alors là vraiment bravo. Tagliata de bœuf morceaux de choix, cuit à la perfection. Mais un régal comme il y avait longtemps que ça ne m'étais pas arrivé. Bravo à la cheffe.

Accueil convivial et chaleureux ! Nous nous sommes régalés avec les spécialités montagnardes. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir lors d’un prochain séjour à Vars !

10/03/2024: A sure value! A welcoming and caring team! The service is impeccable, the bedding is very comfortable and the rooms are very clean! The half-board option offers a varied breakfast and the dinners offered by the chef are quality! The little extra: a very nice SPA to relax after a great day of skiing! THANK YOU again to the whole team for this wonderful welcome, we will come back for sure! :) VINCENT family

Le Barjo Restaurant d'altitude

01/04/2024: Very efficient service with always a smile from the team. Very, very good value for money for a meal on the slopes. A very varied menu with mountain dishes and also a great suggestion of desserts. Everything is very plentiful. In short, a very good time.
28/03/2024: A restaurant in the Vars resort in the middle of the ski area. We come back with pleasure because this restaurant offers typical Queyras dishes that are not found in high-altitude restaurants. A very pleasant sun terrace and a ski lift which allows you to get back on the slopes after a good meal. This restaurant also offers evening dining but being in Risoul, I have never been able to try this restaurant at night.
