Restaurant Le Christina sur Ville-La-Grand

❤️ This is my second time at this restaurant, and the quality is consistently excellent. We had a wonderful meal, and they offer great value for money ✨ (I also absolutely loved the cake). The service was attentive and friendly. I had a small problem with my skirt, and they helped me find a solution 🙏 (P.S.: I didn't take the best photos, but it was delicious!)

It's a place I enjoy going to. A pleasant atmosphere and very attentive service. The food is delicious. However, I'm taking off a star because I was disappointed by the "café gourmand" (gourmet coffee). It consisted of a sort of sour panna cotta, a small dry pistachio cake, and a small pot with a very acidic lemon base and a soft meringue. I'll finish with the crème brûlée, which was very good and which I recommend.

A magnificent place reminiscent of an explorer's home; the octopus was a bit greasy, the vegetables tasteless, but the chestnut dessert was very good...

The mashed potatoes were quite bland, otherwise the rest was very good, the tartare was as excellent as ever.

My partner and I spent Valentine's Day at Restaurant Le Christina. To begin with, we received a very warm welcome and excellent service; the waiters were incredibly kind! And the food was absolutely delicious 🤩 We will definitely be back. Thank you for a lovely evening!

We finally got to try Christina after several positive reviews of this restaurant. €85 for the set menu is still a bit steep, the foie gras was excellent, but the scallops could have used a little sauce to enhance the flavor; they lacked seasoning. However, the main course was really not great. There was a cooking error, but that can happen. The waiter sent the plate back to the kitchen, and we were able to eat the rare beef fillet, but for me, the side dishes were really disappointing. I even asked the waiter if it was frozen because the potato pancake definitely tasted like it had been frozen, and the vegetables were watery, oh my god… I have a question: why do you serve zucchini when it's February? Boiled vegetables were completely pointless. Luckily, there was pesto to add some flavor. At that price, you expect vegetables to be prepared a bit more, roasted or glazed. The dessert was good, the wine too. I must say the service was impeccable, but the food was just okay. They need to lower the prices because €257 for two is a lot, isn't it? If the food were extraordinary, I wouldn't mind paying that much, but it wasn't. I hope the staff are well paid.

Always excellent service at Christina. The service is pleasant and the dishes are beautifully presented. It's best to make a reservation 😉
