A superb place with a view of the Loire, an exceptional table with dishes with incomparable flavors, notably an eggplant, zucchini and soy confit starter with a fillet of red mullet, a flavor worthy of what you can find in Japan.
The room was dated, small despite a large balcony but the season was not suitable for it; the waiter was never able to help us choose a wine and repeated useless words of flavor, and the wait for the dishes was so long that I gave up dessert.
We really liked the hotel restaurant Le Coq Hardi, we recommend this establishment! The meals were delicious, whether dinner or breakfast, the service impeccable, all in a soft and friendly atmosphere at the same time. The room was comfortable and well maintained. Thank you for this great experience 😊
We stayed two nights at Le Coq Hardi. Although the decoration of the rooms is a little dated, they are nonetheless comfortable and in very good condition. However, it might be wise to add a small fridge in the room with some drinks and to change the old wool blankets with duvets/eiderdowns.
The breakfast served at the table is excellent and well stocked. Rolls, pastries, jams, cold meats and cheese are served in good quantity and of very good quality.
The breakfast room also has a superb view of the Loire below.

Functional and pleasant rooms
Very good semi-gastronomic restaurant. It's a pleasure to eat on the terrace in summer under the trees facing the Loire. The chef's cuisine is really good and delicious.

13/08/2024: The actual location of the hotel and restaurant are a little further down the road and on the right from where Google maps places it. But once we found it, we had excellent service with a nice table viewing their grounds towards the Loire river. It was great that they had a nice play area for kids. And I highly recommend the strawberry tiramisu!
