08/06/2026: Perfect!
Let's ignore the exterior and head inside.
Don't let the name fool you: this restaurant isn't just Italian, but also a very good French restaurant with high-quality dishes.
We received a warm welcome from our hosts, who brought us the menu, including pizzas and pastas, aperitifs and wines, as well as the frequently updated daily specials board.
The aperitif menu was adequate and reasonably priced.
The same goes for the wines. The quarts were good, excellent value for money.
The bottled wines were very good.
Now for the food.
The menu features set starters and main courses. In addition, new starters and main courses are offered every week or so. The same goes for the desserts.
We've been five times, so we've had a good chance to judge.
Homemade dishes, slow-cooked and well-prepared.
From duck stew to seafood casserole, not forgetting the ribeye steak or dogfish in bisque sauce, Basque-style squid, and generous composed salads, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Everything is excellent!
The starters are excellent and plentiful, as are the main courses.
There are several side dishes to choose from: pasta, fries, rice, lentils, and vegetables.
The desserts are very good.
The pizzas are delicious too.
The owners are friendly and easy to talk to.
The first time we visited, we toured the entire kitchen and all the other rooms, about 100 square meters! Everything is spotless, from the furniture to the floors.
Everything is set up so the cooks can work in good conditions.
If you're not convinced yet, we are, and we'll be back. Currently, they have Label Rouge mussels.
Eat in or take away; they have a loyalty card for pizzas.
Enjoy your meal!
