We are regulars, we come from Fougères to enjoy very good couscous and to deal with a restaurant owner who is not stingy with anecdotes about his country and his cuisine, we highly recommend it!

We came for dinner with friends and had a fantastic time! The couscous was delicious, as were the kefta, chicken, and merguez sausages… everything was delicious, and the chef was lovely! All at very reasonable prices! Thank you so much! I highly recommend it!

We had lunch there on a Saturday. We were alone, enjoying the sunshine and the first warm days of the season. We can say that the food was perfect.

Contrary to some of the comments I've read about the owner, I found him very pleasant. The couscous was delicious. The restaurant operates on a reservation basis, which is why they don't have all the items available or only in limited quantities, but that's also a sign of quality. The service was excellent. I'll be back next time I'm in Rennes.

The owner is a bit rough around the edges and hot-tempered, but he's an excellent cook with top-quality ingredients. So if you want to tantalize your taste buds with a wonderful couscous (I had the lamb one), go to this place; you'll leave completely satisfied and full.

04/04/2026: A quick stop in Rennes before a show. We stopped at L'Ambassade to recharge and grab a bite to eat. A sunny terrace and a fantastic waitress named Marie. Highly recommended! 😍
