Restaurant le Mot Passant sur Bourgoin-Jallieu

We had a great lunch here after a morning of moving house. They were friendly and welcoming even though it was nearly 2pm when we arrived it was not a problem for us to eat lunch. The burgers were excellent as was my plat du jour. Also the chips were delicious!! Service was very friendly and the proprietor is delightful. We will be going back!

Back to "Le Mot Passant" and it was another wonderful experience. A warm and attentive welcome immediately puts you at ease. The atmosphere truly gives the impression of "leaving home," of escaping for the duration of a meal, which is particularly enjoyable in its unpretentious setting. As for the food, we opted for a Savoyard hamburger and an andouillette sausage: two generous, flavorful, and well-prepared dishes that reflect genuine expertise. In short, an address we wholeheartedly recommend for a pleasant time over a delicious meal.

Great atmosphere, very affordable prices. The back room can accommodate a group. Simple cuisine, but delicious dishes. Homemade food. I recommend it; the owner is welcoming right up until the customer leaves. A place where we feel right at home.

A wonderful discovery! A welcoming and friendly place. My wife and I had dinner there for Valentine's Day, and what can I say about the menu except that it was exceptionally excellent! From the aperitif to the starter, main course, and dessert, it was a delight from beginning to end. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and I will definitely be back! Thank you to the whole team for this lovely evening. The decor was really nice, and congratulations to all the staff. A perfect 20/20, without a doubt.
